Open Access

Southern Power System Technology flipped as an open access journal since the 1st issue of 2024. Since then, all articles once published are immediately and permanently available for readers to read and download free of charge. Articles published from 2022 to 2023 have been converted to open access, and readers can freely access and download them from our website. Articles published before 2022 are not open access. Full-text downloads of some articles are available for free on our website. The copyright of these articles is held by the journal’s editorial department.

Copyright

The corresponding author must ensure that the submitted manuscript has been approved by all authors, that all authors agree to submit it to Southern Power System Technology, and that the order of authorship has been confirmed. Once the manuscript is accepted by the journal, all authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement to transfer the copyright of the article to the Editorial Department of Southern Power System Technology. The copyright of the article (including both print and electronic versions) will transfer to the editorial department. This includes, but is not limited to, the following rights: the right of reproduction, distribution, online dissemination, translation, compilation, online publishing and information dissemination; the right to authorize inclusion in domestic and international literature indexing systems, online platforms, and database systems; the right to publish and use the article through various media, formats, and in other languages; and the right to use the article in compliance with current and future laws of the People's Republic of China.

OA License

For all open access articles published by this journal, permitted third party reuse and author’s reuse of the articles is defined by the following user license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows reusers to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the license terms below are followed: reusers must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Reusers may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the use. Reusers may not use the material for commercial purposes. 

Online Availability

All electronic files of published papers are available on our official website (https://nfdwjs.csg.cn/), and full texts are also indexed in CNKI, Wanfang, Weipu and CSCD databases. All those files on our website are open access and free of charge, including the title, authors, abstract, author’s organization, and full-text.

In 2015, Southern Power System Technology joined the National Science and Technical Journal Open Platform constructed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and implemented by the Institute of Science and Technical Information of China, to open the non-commercial use of all scientific papers in the journal to the public.

Authors' self-archiving

The journal allows authors to store all versions of their articles in an institutional or other knowledge repository of the authors' choice, subject to the specification of journal publication information in the article metadata of the stored institutional or other knowledge repository, and as a recommended citation.

Data sharing

The authors are encouraged to publish or share their research data whenever appropriate. Data sharing is helpful for experiment repetition and data reuse. The data for sharing may include original data, observation records, experimental results, etc. The journal also encourages the sharing of software, code, models, algorithms, and other useful materials. Authors may upload the shared data or materials to an open-access repository (e.g., Science Data Bank) and include the corresponding link at the end of the article.
