Southern Power System Technology (Monthly, ISSN 1674-0629 / CN 44-1643/TK), founded in 2007, is a science and technology journal governed by China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (CSG) and sponsored by CSG Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). As an internationally circulated scientific publication, it primarily disseminates research achievements, practical experiences, and industry trends covering power system R&D, planning, infrastructure construction, operation, and maintenance. With a circulation exceeding 8,000 copies, the journal serves as an important academic platform in the power engineering field. The scope of the journal covers power system analysis and control, power system dispatching technology, power system relaying, real-time digital simulation, IT and intelligent apparatuses and instruments in power systems, power enterprise management, environment protection, and energy saving. The journal particularly focuses on the technology of bulk power transmission systems, featuring multi-infeed HVDC lines and AC/DC-hybrid operation.
