Research on CIM Based Panorama Generating of Power System

Abstract

The panorama of power system and substation diagram automatic generating technology based on IEC 61970 common information model (CIM) is discussed. Based on the dynamic diagram automatic mapping model, the smallest ellipse geographic partitioning area algorithm, and the substation layout of release-compression algorithm, the panorama of the complete CSG power system models above 110 kV is realized in CSG Power Dispatching Control Center including whole model integration and automatic diagram generation of the power system above 110 kV, automatic layout generation of substation diagram, automatic power flow diagram generation with geographic background, synchronous update of the diagrams with network model. All the diagrams are imported into EMS and other applications and achieve the integration of panorama of power system, which improve the efficiency of power grid operation and maintenance, and provide more accurate, reliable and rich power system graphics and visualization supports for power dispatching centers.
