Operation Smart System (OS2) is put forward by China Southern Power Grid as a new generation of power grid dispatching operation system. Its top-level application is power grid operation cockpit (POC), which consists of three core functions such as key performance indicator(KPI) monitoring and warning, panoramic view and centralized console. Centralized console integrates various types of operation, control method and layouts control function to achieve the closed-loop control of the key link, which can solve the problem of dispatchers needing to switch between multiple business system with task-oriented grid regulation. Technology architecture and function orientation of the centralized console are introduced. Some key technologies are studied such as function integration, graph remote call, operation safety, business process definition. This centralized console has completed the pilot run of the China Southern Power Grid OS2’s operation cockpit console.
