By the end of 2017, the proportion of European offshore wind power installed capacity in the world reached 81.7%. Offshore wind power technology has changed from demonstration stage to more extensive commercialization, which is closely related to the gradual improvement of offshore wind power standardization. This paper briefly reviews the development process of offshore wind power standardization in Europe, and introduces in detail the experiences of the developed countries such as Denmark, Germany, Britain and so on. By comparing the emphases of the above mentioned countries, combining with the implementation degree of standardization in this field in China, the paper analyzes the significance of European offshore wind power development experience to the standardization of offshore wind power in China, and combines the actual situation of our country the relevant enlightenment and suggestion are put forward. In the development of offshore wind power standardization, it should be paid attention to establish local characteristic standards and cooperate with innovation, further improve the inspection certification system and cross-departmental cooperation mechanism, and actively participate in the formulation of international standards.
